"Mr. Lee Townsend was twice shot by Mr. Peyton Campbell, the balls taking effect in the side and hand. Mr. Townsend was living at last accounts, but it is thought that his wounds will prove fatal. We understand the difficulty grew out of a wrestle between some of the young men, which ended in a general fight. -- Springfield Speculator"
