On March 10 it was printed in the New York Evening World that Mr. M.M. Kakihara, the manager of the New York School of Jiu Jitsu & Ken Jitsu, demanded an interview. In which he stated, his head instructer Prof. W. Hakoiwa was not the Hako who had been thrown in the above match. He want on to say the Hako who appeared was a fraud and nothing but a "Common Japanese."
