Lou Thesz has his first training session
Notes:
It starts at 2PM.
This is in preparation for his match with Wild Bill Longson.
His training partners are Charlie McDaniel, Carlos Freeman and Ray Gunkel.
McDaniel is the wrestling coach at Indiana University.
Freeman once held the Indiana YMCA Heavyweight Championship.
Gunkel is Purdue's recently turned pro.
The session is open to the public.
It's said there will be a second one on Sunday.

It's said that Thom outbid the St. Louis promoter to have the title match h in Indianapolis.
Thom is said to be the former I.U. mat coach.
He is also the successor to Lloyd Carter, as the promoter here.
It's said the Coliseum will hold 8,000 general admission.
Salvoldi used a flying dropkick to win.
Thesz is said to be 8 years younger and 15lbs lighter than Longson.
Thesz weighs 236lbs.
It's said Thesz has won the title three times in the past.
Longson won the first fall with a body slam and press.
Thesz won the second fall with a step-over toe hold, "made famous by the late Frank Gotch."
In the final fall, "Thesz got him up in the air and was bent on pitching him out of the arena when Longson broke away, accomplishing the trick himself. He landed on the first-row seats, hurting his leg, and crawled back into the ring in bad shape after a 17-count."
Thesz then used the step-over toe hold again.
