He appeared all over North America as Young Shiranuhi along with Duke Keomuka (known in Hawaii as Martin Hisao Tanaka).
They usually competed in tag team bouts under judo-rules.
Shiranuhi specialized in the Japanese arm bar and “the neck chopper.”

He had been a multi-sport athlete at Tempe State Teachers College, excelling at track and field, football, boxing, basketball, baseball, swimming and diving.
Finley was called “one of the foremost all-around athletes ever turned out in Arizona” - Arizona Republic
He did some pro boxing while at Tempe and this led to the AAU barring him from competition when he transferred to Occidental College in Los Angeles, where it had been hoped he’d be a star on their track team and football teams.
The issue was apparently resolved as he did end playing for Occidental in ’31 and ’32 with considerable success as both a track and field “iron man”, competing in discus, javelin and high jump, as well as a star football player.
[Sounds like Finley might have been brought in as a “ringer”-not uncommon in college sports of that era.
He started wrestling professionally in 1934 and continued into the early 1940s.
