"Singular Wrestling Match. - We make a present of the following to all lovers of the old English sport of wrestling, with the aussrance that we can vouch for the truth of the statement:- A dya or two since, while mustering was going on at Warbreccan, a gentleman engaged in the work observed two old men kangaroos in the middle of an extensive plain, deciding a difference of opinion by an appeal to arms, in the shape of a regular 'rough and tumble' wrestling match. The animals were evidently in real earnest, as they struggled and strove, 'manfully' for the mastery; and, moreover, displayed no mean amount of science in the engagement, which was terminated by the victor throwing his opponent a regular crossbuttock. This was told us by a gentleman who has lived for many years in the very midst of kangaroos, as a novel incident, and as such is worthy the attention of naturalist. - Souther Courier" - Sydney Morning Herald
