"There were two higher profile shows in Athens in 1990 that I know of. First on February 19 Souglakos took on the Canadian Thomson (also known as Gigi the Greek). There was talk of this match being a cage match, but I'm not sure whether it was. I think they had more matches too. Then on December 16 Tromaras defeated Frank Logan* (from France, supposedly)." - Phil Lions

"The final Greek show of the 90s that I know of took place in 1991. I'm sure there must have been others after it, but that's the last one I have information on. Interestingly enough, it was put on by an American company. On February 28 at the 15,000-seat Friendship and Peace Stadium arena in Piraeus New York's National Wrestling Federation put on a big show, which was taped for Greek TV. To this day it's the only wrestling show by a foreign company in Greece as WWE, or anyone else for that matter, has never ran there." - Phil Lion
