Duncan A. McMillan
He was a wrestler, a manager and a promoter. McMillan faced most of the top names in America and Canada during the late 1800's and early 1900's. One of his most notable feuds was against the all-round athlete Duncan C. Ross. He also met greats such as "The Strangler" Evan Lewis, Tom Connors, Lucien Marc Christol, John J. Rooney, John Rowett, Jack King, Dan McLeod, Frank Gotch, Martin "Farmer" Burns, Jim Parr, Tom Sharkey, Charles Green and others.
McMillan was not his only moniker though as in Canada and certain parts of America he adopted the name of F.C. Quinn. It's possible he won the Canadian Heavyweight Championship, although it may have just been an empty claim. It's very likely he assumed other names over the course of his career too, which are yet to be connected to him.
When his career as a wrestler was winding down he took up managing and promoting, his most famous client was probably Halil Adali, one of the "Terrible Turks" who traveled over to America. He also bought himself a saloon in Seattle where he could host wrestling matches as well as naturally making a profit from any beverages served at the shows.
