Chapter Nine: The Sport of Professional Wrestling
#PWHS #Articles #FantasyFriday #AEW #AllEliteWrestling #ProWrestling #Wrestling
The following is a fantasy piece constructed for the PWHS!
Pro Wrestling is not performance art. Pro Wrestling is a sport. If you look back into it's history, right here...in the #PWHS...you will see how true that is. From Frank Gotch to Lou Thesz, to Harley Race, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, John Cena, etc. If you tell them that Pro Wrestling is not a sport, they'd break every bone in your body. Why? They took wrestling seriously. It's not a performance. Wrestling is not art. Wrestling dates back to ancient Egypt, and if you're big on religion, God sent angels down to wrestle so therefore, God created wrestling. Either way, I highly doubt ancient Egyptians thought of wrestling as performance art. They wrestled because it was a sport. Whether or not Egyptians created it, is debatable, but that's not the point of this month's Fantasy Friday!
The Following is a fantasy piece. It takes place in the year 1985. The promotion featured is a new upstart company known as...All Elite Wrestling. A promotion started up from the dust by Dusty Rhodes and The Rock N Roll Express! Their roster includes some of the best talent in the world, and their first card takes place at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Illinois. They sell the place out in just a couple of hours! Here's the first AEW event...

Jimmy Snuka beats Masked Superstar.
Dick Murdoch and Adrian Adonis beat Mike and Pat Kelly.

World Tag Titles
The Rock N Roll Express beat Afa and Sika to retain the tag titles! The RnR Express won the titles on episode 4 of AEW Championship Wrestling in a battle royal!
AEW Title Match
Bruiser Brody pins Dusty Rhodes to win the title!
This is just an idea as to what AEW could of looked like in 1985 if it had existed! Truthfully, I wish AEW well, but there's a big hill to climb, and they have yet to reach the top! Thanks for reading! Until next time, Save Me A Ringside Seat!
