Imagine, if you will, the biggest stars of two different decades, squaring off in the biggest dream matches we could ever see. Well, this article will examine such a possibility, so, grab a comfortable chair, get the popcorn ready and enjoy!
"Superstar" Billy Graham Versus. Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan is the World Wrestling Federation's World Heavyweight Champion. It's 1984 and Hogan has just defeated the Iron Sheik for the title. Hogan needs a challenger and he get's one!
WWF Championship Wrestling
Hulk Hogan shoots an interview with Vince McMahon, but he gets sneak attacked by a mystery man. Nobody sees the man's face, as he is wearing a mask, but Hogan, Hogan is busted open pretty severely!
WWF Championship Wrestling
The following week Hogan, with his head bandaged up calls out this mystery man! Hogan is in the middle of the ring awaiting the arrival of the man! The man shows up. But, he never leaves the aisle way as he answers Hogan's challenge:
"Next week, Hogan. Next week."
So, it's made official! Next week on WWF Championship Wrestling, Hulk Hogan will take on this masked mystery man!
WWF Championship Wrestling
WWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan versus the mystery man never starts due to the man's attack on Hogan, as Hogan makes his way to the ring! Hogan is deemed unfit to compete that night.
Next week on...
WWF Championship Wrestling
The mystery man allows Vince Mcmahon to interview him:
"These people, they want to know, who's under the mask? All they need to know is that I'm going to get back what was stolen from me in the first place."
WWF Championship Wrestling
Hogan returns the following week and is interviewed by Mean Gene Okerlund.
"Gene, I don't know who's under that mask, or what he's talking about. Stolen from him? It doesn't matter what he says, I will find out who is under that mask, but no matter who it is, he has the face of a coward!"
The mystery man is in action the following week!

The mystery man pins Rene Goulet.
Hogan comes out and attacks the mystery man! Hogan grabs the mask and pulls it off! It's revealed to be...Mike Sharpe!...? Then out of nowhere, Hogan gets attacked by a returning..."Superstar" Billy Graham! Graham grabs a mic and says:
"It was me all along Hogan! You think you're gonna be better then me? If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't even be in the business! I will get back what was taken from me! The WWF World Heavyweight Championship!"
At Madison Square Garden, the match takes place, for the first time ever!

"Superstar" Billy Graham stuck around a few more months before leaving the WWF again. Hogan goes on to keep the WWF championship until 1988 when he lost to Andre The Giant on The Main Event!
Well, I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did coming up with the idea! I'm sure some of you would have Superstar win the title, but I felt if I had Superstar win the title so soon into Hogan's reign, which by the way, I did do that, for one day anyway, it would have ended Hulkamania before it even started!
